Head of Indirect Tax – 12 months

Head of Indirect Tax 12 months role for an international company, requires an experienced Indirect Tax Director or Head of Indirect Tax, to manage the indirect tax affairs for this Group.
This role is fully remote working and so can be worked from anywhere within the UK (it cannot be worked outside of the UK).
Reporting to the Head of Tax, joining a tax team of 10 and managing 1 Indirect Tax Analyst, this role has an even split in duties between compliance and advisory work, which includes:
- Consolidating the quarterly VAT return for the Group.
- Advising on the indirect tax implications of the business’s M&A activity.
- PESM negotiations.
- HMRC audit negotiation.
- Merging new business’s VAT requirements into the Group structure.
- Look at VAT savings for the Group.
To be considered for this role you will have an indirect tax compliance and advisory experience and will have held a senior role previously in order to have the gravitas within this position. You will be available towards the end of October to start this position, and can commit to the 12 months duration.
