I have been exclusively retained on a role with a multinational business based in Sheffield. The role reports directly into the Group Financial Controller and will be responsible for the overall liquidity and cash management of the group. This will include:

  • Manage both the Group’s short and long-term cash requirements including decisions on investments
  • Monitor and further automate treasury reporting and cash flow forecasting accuracy
  • Manage the daily cash position across all the Group’s operating accounts, ensuring an optimal level of bank accounts and use of online technology
  • Maintain the group cash pooling / cross border sweep setups and maximise liquidity structures
  • Manage and execute both domestic and cross-border intercompany loans, maintain loan documentation and ensure appropriate interest rates in place
  • Support refinancing projects when applicable
  • Manage the process for compliance reporting and provision of management information to debt providers and rating agencies, including a detailed understanding of the key terms and baskets under our facilities
  • Manage and oversee the facility draw downs and repayment when necessary
  • Develop and improve group wide strategies, processes, systems usage and policies to identify and deliver process improvements and efficiencies across treasury workstreams which add value, improve visibility and reduce risk

In order to be considered, you must ideally have:

  • 5+ years in a Treasury function
  • Experience in liquidity and cash management within a Treasury function, having demonstrated ownership in this space previously
  • Strong communication skills and be able to interact proactively with business units and the wider finance team
  • Desire to make a postiive impact and drive change
