Our client is a global healthcare business searching for a Group Tax Accountant to join their London tax team.

The tax function is a collegiate team which has grown significantly over the last few years as the business grows from strength to strength. You will report to the Group Tax Manager and work alongside 7 other tax professionals.

As a Group Tax Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking ownership of the corporate tax returns across a number of group companies with the support of your direct tax colleague.
  • Preparing the current and deferred tax calculations for interim and year-end provisioning purposes.
  • Assist with various tax projects including preparation for Pillar 2 compliance, process improvements, group restructuring, M&A and other ad hoc projects.
  • Fostering relationships with various stakeholders across the business.

To be considered, you will be ACCA, ACA, and/or CTA qualified with a minimum of 3 years of UK corporate tax experience. In addition, you should be IT literate, particularly in Excel, and have experience working with tax compliance software. Hiring managers will assess your communication skills, project management skills, and your enthusiasm to develop further.

Unfortunately, this role will not offer visa sponsorship.

In return, you will receive a salary of £70,000-£80,000 base depending on your experience plus a 15% discretionary bonus and a host of benefits. The tax team follow a hybrid pattern of 1-2 days in the office.
