An exciting global tax analyst opportunity has arisen at a global beverages group, based in their brand new central London HQs. This is a great time to join as they continue to grow within their market and expand their UK tax function.

You will be joining a growing tax function and will be responsible for all direct and minor indirect tax matters of the global holding group companies in the UK. This role reports into the Head of Tax within the UK business and will involve significant exposure to the business support teams overseas.

Responsibilities:

As the global tax analyst, you will be responsible for all tax compliance matters, which includes the monthly, quarterly, yearly tax position, submission of the CT returns and tax modelling.

  • Supporting the UK global controller and local head of tax for direct tax planning and compliance activities across the business strands in the UK.
  • Supporting the local tax accounting activities.
  • Responsible for increasing the efficiency and internal control in the direct tax area.
  • Supporting the senior tax specialists with various projects, interacting with stakeholders and implement new ideas.

This will not just be a routine compliance focused role, as it will involved the implementation of tax protocols, improvements in tax processes and supporting other overseas functions relating to UK tax matters.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, energetic and eager to continue to develop in a commercial, fast-paced and social culture. Everyday is different with lot's of things to get involved in! You will either be coming from a top practice firm or a large recognised in-house business. Solid UK corporate tax reporting and compliance experience is a must.

Whether you are qualified or not, you must have at least a few years experience in solid CT and willing to learn. Further study support is offered.
