FP&A Manager
Job Duties:
- Implement best practices as it relates to financial planning and analysis including processes, systems, tools and techniques across the organization to align with standards.
- Analyze historical performance to understand root-cause of issues and supports improvement efforts going-forward; Proactively perform forward-looking analysis and identify areas of improvement for management attention
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on all FP&A related matters, ensures compliance with corporate reporting guidelines and standards, and represents MSD-OP on FP&A matters
- Provide financial leadership and budgetary support to the business during annual PP process, monthly forecast reviews, strategic planning and other ad-hoc financial reporting requirements.
- Prepare extensive and detailed financial and business analyses to deliver impactful financial information.
- Develop and maintains an FP&A handbook that can be deployed as a training guide for incoming talent
- Responsible for building organizational capability across the Finance function; Direct oversight of three finance professionals
- Lead special projects as may be required
- Partner with the company’s Aerospace Sector, Accounting, Audit, Treasury and Tax as appropriate
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business from an accredited institution is required
- 5+ years accounting/finance experience
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience using excel to create pivot tables, graphs, and modeling
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to function in a multi-cultural environment
- Detail Orientated
- Oracle experience preferred
- Budgeting experience preferred
