Brewer Morris are working with a leading bank who are looking to bring in a Financial Risk Associate into their financial risk team. This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative challenger bank who are changing the traditional banking sector.


In your role you will work in the financial risk function partnering with both treasury and risk stakeholders to provide expertise and oversight on areas such as liquidity risk, capital risk and IRRBB and also have the opportunity to delve into climate risk.

Your core responsibilities will be:

  • Review and challenging the banks stress testing process and outputs
  • Review and challenge key regulatory submission documents such as the ICAAP and ILAAP.
  • Come up with strategic initiatives looking at the impact on capital and liquidity
  • Writing the financial risk report to be presented to the executive committees.

In order to apply you will need experience in the following areas:

  • 3+ years' experience working in banking or in a banking focused role (consulting) working on capital and stress testing.
  • Sound knowledge of prudential risk regulations
  • Knowledge of ICAAP & ILAAP stress testing.
  • Good stakeholder management experience having worked with senior stakeholders
