Financial Controller
Responsibilities:
- Broad responsibilities including Accounting, HR, Payroll, Vendor Relations, and Operational Policies and Procedures:
- Preparing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Managing all accounts payable functions
- Preparing month-end journal entries and financial statements
- Managing HR, including benefits, hiring, periodic evaluation, and termination of personnel
- Managing biweekly Payroll functions including monthly sales representatives’ commission statements
- Periodic Vendor review and contract negotiation
- Review and revision of operational policies and procedures
- Forecasting and periodic budget variance analysis
- Various special projects and tasks
- Management of internal audit functions
- Manage deficiency balance program
- Knowledge of QuickBooks
Qualifications:
- Accounting degree and 4 years experience in public or private accounting required
- Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to take initiative, work proactively and independently, and with a team in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Have a positive and professional attitude and are reliable
- Have a high level of integrity and self-motivation.
