Finance Director
I have been engaged by a rapidly growing health and hygiene business, who are looking for a UK&I Finance Director to lead their team.
Our client is a forward-thinking organisation committed to driving financial growth and stability. As they expand their operations, they’re seeking a skilled Financial Director to lead their finance team and shape their financial strategies.
As the Financial Director, you will have the opportunity to:
- Manage accounting records and ensure accuracy
- Evaluate and manage risk, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Oversee accounting operations including AP/AR/Financial Controller functions
- Analyze financial data, monitor expenditure, and forecast revenue
- Coordinate auditing processes and ensure the accuracy of financial information
- Lead a team in areas of AP/AR/Financial Controller
- Prepare financial reports and ensure accurate monthly management accounts
- Produce company cash flows and participate in budgeting processes
- Streamline accounting functions and operations, developing plans for financial growth
Your qualifications and experience:
- Degree in accounting or equivalent
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- 3-5 years post-qualification experience in fast-paced, agile industries ideally within FMCG or retail
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in auditing and compliance-oriented environments
- Exposure to global markets such as EU/UK/US
- Proficiency in accounting software, especially linked to stock control
- Analytical skills with fastidious attention to detail
