Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage federal tax compliance process including the preparation and review of the pro forma and consolidated federal tax return
  • Review and analysis of business transactions and related tax reporting requirements
  • Research and provide tax technical guidance related to federal income tax issues
  • Prepare and timely file quarterly federal tax estimates and extension
  • Administer tax software and timely electronically file (efiling) federal return
  • Prepare and/or review responses to the federal taxing authority notices, inquiries, and correspondences.
  • Assist with US GAAP income tax reporting requirements under ASC740 including quarterly income tax forecasts, annual budgeted income tax provisions that includes but not limited to calculating temporary & permanent adjustments & reconcile deferred tax balances

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance Or Accounting
  • 5+ years of experience in tax (Subchapter C) with a combination of public & private
  • Working knowledge of federal tax return preparation and ASC740/FIN48
  • Technology proficiency (i.e. CorpTax, SAP, Hyperion, Excel, on-line tax research)
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in ways that are meaningful to and useful to non-tax professionals
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent quantitative skills
  • Excellent tax research, analytical and writing skills
