Director of Financial Reporting

Overview

We’re looking for a seasoned financial leader to oversee all aspects of financial reporting. This role ensures compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal policies, while delivering accurate, timely reports that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead external and internal financial reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and implement new accounting guidance.
• Support audits and maintain SOX-compliant controls.
• Provide technical accounting insights to leadership.
• Maintain consistency and accuracy in financial disclosures.
• Collaborate across departments to support business initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 7-10 years of financial reporting experience, including 5+ in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC, and SOX.
• Public company and complex accounting experience.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in financial systems (Workiva, Oracle, SAP) and Excel.

Preferred

• Big 4 public accounting background.
• Experience with process improvement and automation.
• Strategic thinker with attention to detail.
• Strong collaborator and communicator.
