Direct Tax Manager – Retail
We are exclusively working with this well-known retail business who are searching for a Direct Tax Manager to join their established tax team in London.
As a Direct Tax Manager, you will be working with a team of c. 8 tax professionals and report to the Director and Head of Tax. Some of your responsibilities include:
- Prepare and submit the direct tax returns with the help of the advisors (UK and overseas).
- Ensure accurate end-to-end accounting and reporting, prepare tax papers and forecasts, and accurate balance sheet.
- Manage and work closely with the advisors to complete the transfer pricing documentation and strategies.
- Assist the tax transformation lead to streamline and automate the tax reporting processes.
This is a collegiate, diverse team working together to ensure the best in-house tax practices and partner with stakeholders across the business.
To be considered for this position, you should be ACCA, ACA or CTA qualified with corporate tax and tax accounting experience. Transfer pricing experience is not an essential requirement but an awareness of TP will be advantageous. Excellent project management skills, and the ability to communicate and liaise with key stakeholders are essential.
Candidates who require sponsorship will be considered but must have UK corporate tax experience.
This opportunity will pay £75,000-£80,000 depending on your experience plus £5,500 cash allowance, 12% discretionary bonus and benefits. The team go into the office 2-3 days in the office.
