Direct Tax Manager
Our client is an international group searching for a Direct Tax Manager to join the tax team in Wokingham.
As a market leader in its sector, this established brand has a global tax team and a UK tax team of 3 people. As the Direct Tax Manager, some of your responsibilities:
- Overseeing all UK corporate tax matters including tax compliance, calculations, double tax relief claims, and corporate interest restriction (CIR) with the aid of the Assistant Tax Manager.
- Reviewing the UK Statutory Accounts including tax notes prepared in-house.
- Ensuring transfer pricing documentation for countries in EMEA, including monitoring intercompany trading agreements and other legal documentation to support transfer pricing position.
- Managing the US GAAP tax accounting process.
- Partnering with various stakeholders across the business to ensure the delivery of the Group’s objectives.
Ideally, you are an ACCA/ACA and/or CTA qualified UK corporate tax professional with a good understanding of tax accounting and exposure to transfer pricing. Excellent project management skills, and the ability to communicate and liaise with key stakeholders are essential.

This role is offering £70,000-£85,000 depending on experience, 15% discretionary bonus, and a host of benefits. The tax team follow a 1-3 day hybrid working pattern.
