This senior role provides a unique opportunity to work across multiple businesses segments with the ability to gain an in-depth view and understanding of the full financial operations; P&L; drivers and KPI’s of the business. Reporting to and working closely with the Executive Director – Global Head of FP&A, the Director of Corporate FP&A will be responsible for executing on traditional corporate FP&A matters, along with direct involvement on a broad range of other finance and operational matters and initiatives. This senior finance role will partner with global finance functions, including controllership, accounting operations, tax and corporate information systems teams.

We are looking for someone who can: build strong relationships within the organization; take advantage of data & analytics to provide business insight and decision support, communicate effectively with all levels; drive improvements, efficiencies, and harmonization in planning, reporting and finance operations; apply technical accounting and tax knowledge on a variety of routing and non-routine matters. The role requires a “hands on” person who is detail oriented and results driven.

Key Responsibilities

  • Senior finance business partner with global finance functions, including controllership, tax, finance systems, and accounting operations.
  • Together with the Executive Director – Global head of FP&A, lead and coordinate the annual forecast and budget process, including driving process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Working closely with FP&A and controllership, oversee and support the monthly close process and related analysis and requests. Identify and recommend process improvements to drive a more effective and efficient close process.
  • Manage and enhance the monthly reporting & analytics for various stakeholders, including parent company, senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with data and analytics team to create valuable dashboards in Tableau that provides insightful reporting, analysis, and decision support to senior leadership
  • In collaboration with the tax team, support tax planning and risk mitigations across the globe by providing business insight, analysis, and data models
  • Coordinate with controllership on the more technical aspects of accounting, including foreign currency and hedge accounting; investments and other accounting rule and guideline changes
  • Execute, orchestrate, and support various projects; including M&A; reorganizations; P&L scenario modelling; entity expansion and eliminations; and other special projects, ad-hoc requests/analysis as needed
  • Part of the team to support business/finance systems enhancements, development, and implementation

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree or higher or global equivalent degree in a finance, accounting, economics, or business-related field. CPA or Chartered Accountant.
  • Certified Corporate FP&A Professional (FPAC) preferred.

Experience:

  • Senior finance position with a minimum of 10 years finance-related experience preferably in a professional service industry with some experience working in a public company.
  • Prior FP&A experience in a leadership role combined with ability to be “hands on” and willing to dive into the details.

Skills/ Expertise:

  • Prior experience and knowledge using ERP systems such as Oracle.
  • Advanced computer literacy on Microsoft suite of applications with expertise on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using BI tools and applications like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to develop and lead teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including active listening, ability to communicate with confidence and ability to influence or persuade others with facts and critical thinking.
