Deputy Head of Tax (15 months)
Deputy Head of Tax interim tax job requires a Senior Tax Manager aspirational to be a Head of Tax, or a Group Tax Manager, for this interim tax job.
Reporting to the Head of Tax for the UK and Ireland, the Deputy Head of Tax will suit an experienced Senior Tax Manager or a Tax Director who can use this role as a stepping stone to being a Head of Tax.
A 15 months contract which has a competitive salary and involves fortnightly meetings in either their London or Woking offices. Key responsibilities of the position will involve:
- Overview of UK tax compliance including corporate tax, VAT and PSA, prepared by others in the team.
- Review UK tax reporting.
- Provide UK tax advice to the business.
- Liaise with HMRC.
- Line manage and coach two direct reports.
To be considered for this role you will have UK tax experience and will have operated at a senior level within a tax team in order to oversee the other members of the team in the compliance process.
