Customs & Excise Analyst – 6 months
Customs & Excise interim tax job in London requires an experienced, and immediately available customs & excise expert.
An utterly unique opportunity within the indirect tax market, to work in this in-house tax team for a highly international PLC business, and in a contract which will take you through to January 2023.
In this role you will provide advice to the business on the customs and excise implications on the import, export, processing and cross-border movement of goods, into and within Europe.
This involves partnering with the business and front line decision makers in the customs and excise implications of their activities, and therefore, working with them on what is the best decision from a customs and excise perspective.
In addition, there is the continuous work on improving processes and systems, which involves project management. These are as a result of projects such as Brexit, UCC and other customs regulatory changes.
This is a fast paced and decisive environment which will allow the successful Customs & Excise professional to apply their knowledge and experience, whilst gaining incredible experience from this PLC, which is a CV enhancing brand.
To be considered for this role, you will have customs and excise experience and will be available to join on an interim/6 months contract. Hybrid working is on offer, with 3 days per week to be based in their Central London office. Therefore, the successful applicant should be in commutable distance to London.
