Location: London – West End

We are working with a highly regarded independent accountancy firm based in the West End of London.

The firm operates very much as a true partnership, with a collaborative, non-corporate culture and a long-term approach to both clients and staff.

Client Base & Work

The firm focuses on small to mid-sized businesses, with many clients:

• Owned by multi-generational families (often 3rd/4th generation)
• Referred through an extensive network and long-standing relationships
• Requiring complex, relationship-led advisory support

Key sectors include:

• Property investment and development
• Construction and civil engineering
• Architecture and real estate-related businesses
• Professional partnerships
• Not-for-profit organisations

The firm also has a private client team, with the corporate tax team working closely alongside them to advise on owner-managed businesses and group structures.

The Role

This is a key strategic hire within the firm’s corporate tax team, reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Tax (Partner).

• Broad mix of corporate tax compliance and advisory work
• Significant exposure to owner-managed and family-owned businesses
• Close collaboration with Partners and other service lines
• Opportunity to take a client-facing, relationship-led role

This is not a heavily managerial position initially, but the successful candidate will:

• Gradually take on leadership responsibilities
• Play a role in shaping the future of the tax function
• Be involved in firm-wide strategic decisions over time

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an individual who is:

• CTA qualified (or equivalent)
• Currently operating at Manager or Senior Manager level
• Experienced in corporate tax within a professional services environment
• Comfortable working with SME / owner-managed businesses
