This global, highly reputable business, with over 250 companies trading in 5 markets, has a current opening for a Tax Manager to join the business on an interim basis. The position will be based in their London offices and hybrid working is encouraged.

The tax team is headed up by a Group Tax Director, with a team based in the London office and a tax team based across their international markets.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Tax, the Tax Manager will be a key member of the team and will play a key role in managing the group’s direct tax affairs, in particular business partnering with key group functions.

Your key responsibilities will include the following:

– Manage the outsourced compliance in conjunction with their outsourced provider

– Maintain and develop the ongoing relationship with HMRC on direct tax matters

– Identify and manage material direct tax risks, with a particular focus on the UK

– Business partnering with finance and the commercial teams

You will have good knowledge of UK corporate tax matters in a large group environment, be analytical and agile with a close attention to detail. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be a strong team player.

The initial contract will be for 12 months but longer term opportunties may be on offer for the right candidate
