Brewer Morris are delighted to be partnered with this well known financial institution to help secure their new Corporate Tax Manager. You’ll be part of a dynamic and forward thinking tax team who are looking to hire a like minded individual. You’ll play a pivitol role in the EMEA tax team looking after the compliance and reporting for a large number of jurisdictions. The role will also involve a sizeable amount of advisory and project work to take the lead on.

Duties:

– Manage corporate income tax compliance and reporting within the UK and EMEA.

– Drive innovation and process efficiency improvements, ensuring tax operations are at the forefront of excellence.

– Collaborate across various teams, delivering on projects and managing risk effectively.

– Develop and mentor staff, offering technical and non-technical training and support.

– Responsibility for the corporate tax compliance and reporting for the EMEA regions

– Calculate deferred tax accounting entries, have oversight of tax disclosures in financial statements
– Liaise with tax authorities and relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

• An experienced UK Corporate Tax specialist
• International experience is beneficial but not essential
• Qualified accountant (including ACCA/CIMA/CA or ATT/CTA) or Qualified by experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to liaise with a range of stakeholders
• Applicants must be able to work 3 days a week in the Glasgow City Centre office
