Corporate Tax Manager – 12 months contract

This global telecommunications business has an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager to join the tax department on a 12 months fixed term contract.

This role supports the management of the Group’s tax affairs, ensuring compliance with global tax requirements.The position encompasses both tax compliance and reporting responsibilities, as well as assistance with ad hoc projects. You will work closely with teams across all divisions of the group.

Other responsibilities include taking ownership of the quarterly reporting process under IFRS, liaising with HMRC on open tax enquiries, providing advice to the group on ad hoc queries relating to employee taxes and other taxes as required.

Suitable candidates will have proven and commensurate experience gained in a large accountancy firm or multinational in-house tax department, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create relationships across different business units and have solid experience of corporate tax, whether UK or international tax.

This role is a maternity cover and candidates will be available to start at short notice.
