Are you a talented and driven corporate tax lawyer with 4-6 years of PQE looking for an exciting new opportunity in London? Our client is a top ranked law firm and is well known for its M&A and strong Venture Capital practice and is looking for someone to join their corporate tax team.

Our client is a reputable London-based law firm with an active and growing client base. They are committed to providing the highest level of support to their team and clients. As they continue to expand, they are looking to strengthen their Corporate Tax Practice to meet the demands of their current and future activities.

As a Tax Associate, you will work closely with the Corporate Team, primarily focusing on M&A, Private Equity, and Venture Capital transactions for a range of prestigious institutional and entrepreneurial clients. You will be involved in negotiating, drafting, and reviewing all tax aspects of corporate transaction documentation. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to take the lead on tax elements of transactions for which you are responsible. Your role will also involve analysing, researching, and advising on stand-alone tax questions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating, drafting, and reviewing tax aspects of corporate transaction documentation.
  • Taking the lead on tax elements of assigned transactions.
  • Providing analysis, research, and advice on standalone tax matters.
  • Collaborating closely with the Corporate Tax Partner and other team members to deliver comprehensive services to clients.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong legal training from a leading mid-market London or regional law firm, with specialization in Corporate Tax work.
  • Proven experience working on all tax aspects of M&A deals, Private Equity, and Venture Capital transactions.
  • Excellent analytical skills to deliver high-quality tax advice to clients.
  • A commitment to maintaining exceptional quality and excellence in your work.
