Our client is a rapidly growing real estate company searching for a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager located in London.

This global business has a tax team of 4 people in the UK. As an Assistant Tax Manager, you will report directly to the Senior Manager. Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Prepare the UK corporate tax returns for the manager to review.
  • Gather the required information for tax due diligence transaction-related and post-transactional new entity onboarding processes to meet compliance needs.
  • Support the team with tax structuring and tax planning projects.
  • Collaborate with the wider tax and finance function and advisors to ensure the business meets all of its tax obligations.
  • Supporting the delivery of tax reporting for the Group including year-end tax consolidation.
  • Identifying, planning and implementing improvement opportunities within the group’s tax reporting systems, processes and procedures.

Ideally, you should be ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified with UK corporate tax and tax accounting experience. Your background can either be from an in-house tax function or a Top 25 firm if you have hands-on tax technical exposure. There is scope to develop your skills in this role with the support of the team. REIT and real estate experience will be advantageous but not a strict requirement.

Unfortunately, this position will not offer visa sponsorship.

In return, you will receive a salary of £60,000-£68,000 depending on your experience, 20% discretionary bonus, stock options, and a host of benefits. The tax team follow a hybrid-pattern of 3 days in the office.
