Corporate Tax AD – flexible and can be term time

Our client is looking for an Associate Director level tax professional to work within their established corporate tax team that focuses on financial services clients. Prior financial services experience is not essential but an interest in the sector will be necessary.

The collaborative team environment and warm culture within this team cannot be exaggerated! The client offers flexible working, part time working and term-time only roles so you are able to balance a rewarding role with responsibilities outside of work. Moreover, the successful candidate will not be expected to be in the office all their working days but ideally an average of 1-2 days a week.

The role, within a team of over fifty corporate tax specialists, involves working closely with clients on predominantly advisory projects as well as managing more junior members of the team. The team will consider candidates from a corporate tax, real estate, infrastructure or asset management background.

More specifically, the successful candidate will:

· Help financial services businesses to optimise their tax position, manage tax risk and meet tax compliance obligations, from UK and international tax structuring considerations to operational tax issues.

· Be given significant exposure to clients, working alongside large and complex financial institutions to manage their tax compliance obligations.

· Manage their own diverse client portfolio, ensuring a high level of client service.

· Identify opportunities.

· Assist in winning working by proactively managing existing relationships and contributing to winning new clients.
