I have been intructed on a role with a very exciting energy business. This person will be heavilty involved in both M&A transactions, as well as project/development finance for renewables projects.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain complex Project Finance financial models; analyse key value drivers and perform scenario and sensitivity analyses, ensuring consistency with project documentation, accounting standards, and tax principles.
  • Conduct valuations and investment analyses to assess potential investment opportunities.
  • Prepare reports, information memoranda, executive summaries, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop a strong understanding of commercial and contractual frameworks, with a particular focus on Project Finance documentation.
  • Participate in commercial and contractual negotiations with banks and financial institutions, under the guidance of the team lead

In order to apply for the role, you must have:

  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, project finance, or private equity-ideally with a focus on energy infrastructure.
  • Strong quantitative skills, with proven expertise in financial modelling and proficiency in VBA
