Cash Management and Budgeting: Oversee cash management, coordinate expenditure programs with cash flow forecasts, and direct the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets.

Mergers and Acquisitions: Manage mergers and acquisitions, including financial analysis, pro forma projections, due diligence, and legal review.

Revenue and Funding Management: Promote and manage diverse revenue streams, including contracts and investments, and oversee fiscal management of these funds.

Financial Reporting and Compliance: Analyze financial positions, issue reports, and ensure compliance with federal and state funding guidelines and auditor standards.

Risk Management and Insurance: Develop funding strategies for risk management, including insurance coverage, and oversee participation in offshore captive insurance programs.

Financial Systems and Controls: Maintain and develop financial information systems, ensure proper record-keeping, and oversee accounting controls and field audits.

Leadership and Team Development: Recruit, motivate, and evaluate finance staff, support succession planning, and foster leadership development.
