I am currently working with a prestigious international Law firm who are looking to hire a Capital Partnership Accountant into their growing finance team in London. This is a commercial role that will offer a lot of exposure to senior stakeholders whilst ensuring accurate partnership accounting. There is clear progression and development in the role too.

The ideal individual must have experience of partnership accounting ideally inhouse within an LLP.


  • Preparing illustrations and advising partners of changes to the PCLs due to increases in points following allocation reviews
  • Arranging PCL repayments which are required due to a change in profit points
  • Ensuring PCL loans and repayments are posted correctly onto the General Legder
  • Work closely with Banks to advice on increases to PCLs due to an increase in profit points or partner recruitment
  • Review the Quarterly interest amounts charged by banks and allocate to the relevant partners undrawn accounts
  • Capital Account and General Ledger reconciliations
  • Responsible for the production of capital information required for the distribution model
  • Assisting with ad hoc and ongoing process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) preferred.
    • Alternatively, training towards the qualification but with extensive partnerships accounts experience.
  • Experienced with Partnership Accounting is a prerequisite.
  • Experience working within an LLP and ideally a law firm is preferred
  • Experience accounting across multiple currencies a benefit for the role.
  • Confident in working closely with Partners, Banks and other key stakeholders.
  • Experience of process improvements beneficial.
