Cash and Liquidity Management:

  • Oversee and enhance the firm’s liquidity position, ensuring it aligns with operational and strategic objectives.
  • Manage and execute FX transactions, derivative instruments, and deposit strategies to mitigate financial risks, optimize capital structure, and maximize risk-free returns on cash.
  • Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts and treasury planning to ensure financial stability.
  • Monitor cash balances across the firm and portfolio companies, implementing strategies to maximize efficiency.

Financing Structuring:

  • Structure, negotiate, and execute complex financing transactions, including syndicated loans, high-yield bonds, Term Loan Bs, and private credit arrangements.
  • Support acquisition financing during M&A transactions.
  • Collaborate with portfolio companies to evaluate and optimize their capital structures, identifying and implementing cost-effective financing solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with financial partners to secure favorable financing terms and ensure effective collaboration.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including investment, treasury, legal, tax, and compliance, to facilitate seamless execution of financial transactions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in leveraged finance, capital markets, investment banking, or cash management, ideally within a leading financial institution or private equity environment.
  • Proven ability to structure and negotiate complex financing solutions, including loans and bonds.
  • Strong understanding of foreign exchange markets, cash management, and hedging strategies, with expertise in FX transactions, derivative instruments, and treasury management.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees (MBA, CFA, etc.) or certifications are a plus.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Bloomberg, advanced Excel, and financial modeling tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinking and critical analysis.
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
