The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Tax Senior Manager to lead and support a growing corporation tax team focused on the Hospitality sector. This is a client-facing role that combines strategic tax advisory with hands-on portfolio management. You’ll work closely with partners and clients on complex tax matters, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to the development of the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support tax advisory projects including:
    • Corporate restructuring and demergers
    • International tax matters
    • Venture capital tax reliefs
    • Tax due diligence reports
  • Manage a portfolio of large corporate clients, including standalone entities and groups
  • Review corporate tax compliance and advise on areas such as loss utilisation and corporate interest restriction rules
  • Identify and implement tax-efficient opportunities for clients
  • Collaborate with engagement partners and provide technical tax support
  • Participate in sector-based business development initiatives
  • Contribute to team development, training, and performance appraisals

Candidate Profile

  • CTA/ACA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience managing a portfolio of corporate clients, ideally within the Hospitality sector
  • Strong technical expertise in corporate tax
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to produce high-quality business reports
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); AlphaTax knowledge is a plus
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior staff
