I am working with a top accounting firm with a well-established and reputable client base across the FTSE index and private client space, varying in size from large and complex through to medium-sized businesses.

The purpose of this role is to strengthen the Cambridge office with an experienced, qualified hire who can provide assurance across both region-specific clients and support the London portfolio as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop towards managing a client portfolio, supporting your manager as a key client contact.
  • Take charge of audit assignments from planning to reporting, ensuring high standards of quality and timeliness for clients.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, contributing to the ongoing development of the team.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements, identify risks, and handle other ad hoc client needs.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Auditing experience within a practice environment, particularly with a range of non-financial services clients. Regional experience is a plus.
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
