Our client’s asset management tax team is the largest practice of its kind in the UK, renowned for its sector expertise and trusted adviser relationships. They serve a diverse clientele including global financial institutions, market-leading boutiques, high net worth individuals, and various investment structures. The team offers comprehensive corporate, partnership, and personal tax advisory services, providing solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.

Our client is seeking an Asset Management Tax Senior Manager (or experienced Manager) to join their dynamic teams in London, Manchester or Newcastle. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in corporate, personal, owner-managed business, or mixed tax. As a part of this broad team you will have the opportunity to work on technically complex UK and international tax advisory projects, driving key client relationships and contributing to the growth strategy of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the successful delivery of technically complex tax advisory projects for clients, supporting the growth strategy in the private capital market.
  • Cultivate and expand key client relationships by delivering exceptional service and pragmatic, solution-oriented advice.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor staff effectively to support their development.
  • Manage team operations, strategy, and staff assignments.

Skills and Attributes Required:

  • Strong familiarity and practical tax knowledge in advising individuals, families, investment structures, and corporate tax matters.
  • Client-focused with the ability to provide commercial solutions.
  • Proven business development skills, capable of identifying and converting opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead effective teams.
  • Commitment to delivering quality work and providing leadership to the delivery team.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and adaptability to new systems.

Qualifications:

  • ACA/CTA/Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course/Law qualification/Tax specialist qualification.
  • Strong tax technical skills.
  • Initiative, professionalism, and confidence.
  • Experience in coaching and developing junior staff.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
