We’re seeking a new team member for the role of AIS Head – German Real Estate Fund Administration, based in Frankfurt with a hybrid work setup. In this position, you’ll lead multiple Fund Accounting teams, managing tasks such as determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports. Your role includes overseeing financial and human resources to ensure effective team operations and goal achievement. As a strategic advisor, you’ll collaborate with executive and functional leaders, bringing strong financial acumen, operational experience, and relationship-building skills to the table.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize deep expertise and domain knowledge in the sophisticated Alternatives Administration industry, particularly the Operating Model within Fund Administration.
- Develop processes and provide guidance to teams to ensure the accurate calculation and maintenance of Net Asset Values in alignment with departmental policies and procedures.
- Recruit, lead, motivate, and develop staff to maximize their individual contributions, professional growth, and effectiveness as a team.
- Demonstrate expertise across relevant business, operational, and technological areas.
- Collaborate with other functional leaders to identify and implement process improvements for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive the development and implementation of key performance indicators to measure business performance.
- Manage special projects and initiatives as required.
- Act as the lead in liaising with senior internal staff and clients to perform the function and assist in achieving the objectives of the Head of German Real Estate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Real Estate fund administration.
- Proficiency in the German language and deep knowledge of the local market.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with experience in developing and managing financial models.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with Yardi and/or Investran accounting platforms.
- Extensive experience in managing projects and initiatives with a track record of delivering results.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
