Accounting Manager
My client is a global top industry leading construction, contracting and maintenance group. They’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage AP/AR, general ledger, billing, cash flow, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements and oversee monthly close processes.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS, payroll regulations, and tax filings.
- Prepare and submit financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) and support audits.
- Collaborate with project controls to meet reporting deadlines.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, driving accuracy and process improvements.
What They’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- 5-8 years of experience; construction industry experience a plus.
- Proficient in accounting software and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and leadership ability.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
- CPA
- Experience with IFRS financial regulations
- Construction Accounting, Industry related experience
