Head of Tax & Treasury

Headquartered in Swindon, United Kingdom, Synergy Health has a global presence and employs over 3,700 people across Europe, Asia, South Africa and the Middle East.

The Group is now looking to appoint a Head of Tax & Treasury to support its expanding operations. This is a newly created role for the business and will report to the Group Finance Director. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a role in a fast growing international business.

Your responsibilities will include:

• The oversight and further development of the Group Tax and Treasury functions.
• The review and implementation of effective and robust Tax and Treasury policies and procedures.Responsibility for all aspects of the Group’s Tax affairs including planning, advisory, compliance and accounting matters.
• Responsibility for Tax and Treasury aspects of any re-financing initiatives in addition to leading any future
  acquisitions, refinancing and private placement.
• Managing the Group’s position with regard to foreign currency, interest rate exposures and Group Treasury
  internal reporting.
• Working and liaising closely with finance, HR and legal teams in addition to external advisers.
• The successful candidate will preferably be ACA/CTA qualified with a strong UK and international tax
  background and ideally will have had exposure to treasury issues. Proactive, positive and motivated by nature
• You must be a strong communicator able to build excellent working relationships across all levels of the
  business, with a demonstrable track record of driving change into a business.
