Global Head of Tax

Our client is a world leader in their sector with business operations in over 20 countries. Currently under private equity ownership, our client expects a relisting in London in the next 4 years. Through substantial investment in a number of strategic locations, they have enjoyed a period of sustained growth in both established and less developed markets.

As a result of this continued success, they are now seeking a Global Head of Tax to further develop and lead a team of 4 tax professionals based in the UK and Germany.

Your responsibilities will include:

• The development, presentation and implementation of an agreed group tax strategy;
• The identification of both UK and cross-border tax planning opportunities;
• Driving improvements in tax compliance and reporting systems and processes;
• The development and leadership of a world-class tax function.

Potential candidates will be ACA and/or CTA-qualified with a proven leadership record gained within the tax function of a complex multi-national group. You must also have the ability to combine your strong UK and international tax experience with excellent communication and influencing skills.
