VAT & Corporate Tax Compliance Manager

Key responsibilities include:

• The preparation, review and filing of UK corporation tax returns. This includes working with the accounting team to complete the taxpacks supplied by KPMG.
• Tax projections and payments for the UK group.
• Preparation of monthly tax accruals for certain UK entities.
• Preparation and/or review of year-end Stats tax accruals and disclosures, as well as dealing with queries from external auditors. 
• All other UK tax compliance matters including treaty claims, dealing with UK Revenue queries, and modelling & considering the impact of legislative changes in the UK.

Corporate Tax Projects

• Assisting with corporation tax planning initiatives.
• Providing UK tax expertise.
• System improvements.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong Accounting Skills.
• VAT And Corporate Tax Knowledge.
• Accounting Degree or equivalent qualified.
• ACCA and/or CTA Qualifications preferred.
• Junior tax manager with an accounting firm with proven PQE  or commerce/industry experience with the requisite skills will be considered.
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Access skills.
• Numerically proficient and can demonstrate attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with management.
• Able to work autonomously and within a team environment.
