Tax Accountant

The high-profile London tax team currently has two excellent opportunities for Tax Accountants whose responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of the quarterly US GAAP and annual UK GAAP statutory reporting for the UKPictures, Computer Entertainment and Treasury businesses;
• Review of the quarterly tax calculations for European group companies’ management reportingsubmissions;
• Responsibility for the UK tax compliance process, including the preparation and lodgement of taxreturns, maintaining the relationship with HMRC and identifying and implementing processimprovements;
• Supporting the Tax Managers in working with European group companies to understand their taxcompliance processes in order to ensure adherence to appropriate internal compliance controls;
• Responding to ad hoc queries from the businesses. You will be ACA/CTA-qualified or qualified through experience.

You will have strong tax accounting skills and a working knowledge of corporation tax in the UK or a similar jurisdiction. In addition, some experience of tax reporting would be advantageous. You will also have strong commercial and analytical skills combined with the interpersonal ability to forge links with both internal clients and external professional advisors.
