Our businesses serve some of the world's largest and more essential industries, including non-residential construction, steel and metals, energy, and railways. A driven and dynamic tax professional is now sought to lead and develop our UK Tax function. You will control and co-ordinate all tax matters for the three divisions present in the UK representing over £400 million in sales and will have full responsibility for managing the tax function of the UK Group companies, including :-

• Working with the internal and external advisers to effectively manage UK tax liability.
• Working with Divisional Tax Liasons and the Senior Director of Global Tax Matters on tax planning to reduce the global effective tax rate.
• Overseeing the UK Tax Accountant's activities whilst ensuring the employee's growth and development.
• Co-ordinating cross-border tax issues with Divisional Tax Liasons to minimize global risk.

You will preferably be ACA and/or CTA qualified with excellent tax technical skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external advisers. You will also be focused, commercially innovative amd able to influence and motivate those around you.
