Corporate Tax Manager

The newly refurbished Croydon office of Chantrey Vellacott DFK LLP houses a growing, vibrant team of around thirty experienced professionals; enough to attract interesting and varied clients and associated technical tax work, but small enough for your contribution to be noticed and appropriately rewarded.

The tax team currently has two full time partners and five professional staff.  They are looking to bring in a new corporate tax compliance manager whose main duties would be to;

• Manage the compliance cycle to ensure work is effectively controlled, delegated, monitored and completed.
  Provide some support and training to more junior staff as well as review computations.
• Undertake ad hoc consultancy assignments
• Develop new, and expand on existing direct personal relationships between the CT compliance function and clients.

The role, will suit someone with sound corporate tax compliance experience and good supervisory exposure.  Prior practical experience of non-corporate business tax issues, especially partnership taxation, and personal tax issues would be useful, though it is not essential. 

A CTA and ACA/ACCA qualified person would be preferred but relevant experience, attitude and team fit are key requirements. We would prefer a full time applicant, but are prepared to look at 4-day applicants as well.
