Senior Tax Consultant - Reading

Target Chartered Accountants, a leading Corporate Finance and Tax led firm, has grown rapidly from a nationally regarded niche tax consultancy to a multi-disciplinary business advisory firm, with offices across southern England and the Midlands. A progressive and entrepreneurial organisation, at the heart of Target is a powerful understanding of owner managed and family businesses and the needs of the individuals within these businesses. The practice has advised on over £550 million worth of deals in the past two years and entered the UK league table for the top 50 accountancy practices in 2006. The latest acquisition places them in the Top 30.

Target are expanding quickly, having frown from 60 staff to 200 across their London, Midlands and M4 Corridor offices, and are currently looking to bring on board an ACA or CTA qualified Senior Tax Consultant, who will report into the Head of Tax Consultancy, with the following key responsibilities:

• Management of an agreed number of high value key client relationships to deliver group income from these in line with budget
• Assist the director of tax product development on the development of group tax products in line with plans
• Assist group tax board on group tax marketing strategy to maximise tax consultancy opportunities.
• Contribute to the budget and business planning process for tax consultancy
• Prospecting for and servicing new tax projects
• Managing the implementation of tax projects through to completion within agreed budget guidelines using taxcon and other appropriate staff
• Development and utilisation of more junior team members to enhance their contribution to the business plans 
   

The salary for this role is negotiable, dependent on experience, and an attractive benefits package is offered. The role can be based from either the Bath or Reading offices
