Principal areas of demand
Often, the principal skill set in demand is mixed tax skills, although it is expected and understood that somebody may have a bias towards personal or corporate tax. The point to bear in mind is that the client base is likely to be personal tax clients and owner-managed businesses – technical skills should reflect this.
Remuneration
This varies from firm to firm but will generally be between £60,000 and £150,000
Notice period
One would expect to have a notice period of three to six months.
