Principal areas of demand
Across the UK there remains a healthy appetite for fixed share partners in the core areas, alongside the more strategic growth sectors. Firms of this nature often seek bright junior partners or fast-track senior managers with promises of partnership status. Strong Big Four-trained tax professionals with the personal skill set to move away from the very large firm environment are often sought.
Current demand is for specialists in:
- Private company and AIM-listed company consulting
- Share holder planning and exit route strategies
- Remuneration planning and share schemes
- Private client and the succession of wealth
Remuneration
A fixed share partner can expect a package of c£100,000 - £200,000. Earnings will often be incentive based, with a base salary plus bonus.
Notice periods
Partners in this bracket can expect to have a six-month notice period.
